The plastics processing industry is going through a phase of significant industrial change. Processors are being asked to manage energy and raw materials more carefully, while adapting production models to increasingly strict requirements in terms of efficiency, repeatability and process control.
In this context, Moretto, a company specialising in automation systems for the plastics processing industry, will present a series of new solutions at PLAST 2026 in Milan. The company, which holds 169 international patents, has built its position around the development of technologies for material handling, drying, dosing and process supervision.
At the exhibition, Moretto will focus on four main areas: drying of technical polymers, gravimetric micro-dosing, material-machine allocation and automatic conveying parameter management.
Among the new products is the expanded X Comb range, with four new models from 17 to 20. These units are designed for processing technical polymers with production rates of up to 60 kg/h. A key feature is the compact footprint, limited to 0.6 m², combined with updated functional and design elements intended to support performance in confined production environments.
For material traceability and allocation, Moretto will present Delphy, a renewed manual manifold equipped with RFID control. The system is designed to improve safety, precision and traceability when assigning materials to machines. Its stainless-steel construction is intended to ensure clean transport and reduce the risk of contamination during material handling.
The company will also introduce DGM Gravix Mini, a gravimetric batch blender developed specifically for micro-dosing applications. The unit is aimed at productions of up to 60 kg/h, where accurate dosing of small quantities is essential for process stability and material consistency.
Another technology on display will be One Wire Plus, a conveying system designed to recognise and apply conveying parameters automatically. Once the source and destination have been defined, the system calculates the appropriate parameters independently, regardless of distance or quantity. This approach is intended to simplify operation and reduce the need for manual adjustments.
Taken together, the systems presented by Moretto at PLAST 2026 reflect the industry’s move toward more compact, traceable and energy-conscious production solutions. The company will be exhibiting in Hall 22, Stand A81-B96, where its team will present the new technologies and their applications for plastics processors.
